Q: Do I need a special license to dispense medications in my medical practice?
A: The state in which you practice medicine determines if a dispensing license is required. We will provide you information specific to your state and handle the initial application process if a dispensing license is necessary. For Example: In Florida, a dispensing license is $100 and is renewable with your current state medical license. The state board of pharmacy requires posting both a DEA and a State License within the practice. Back

A: There are 46 of 50 states that currently allow physician dispensing. The laws can frequently change so we recommend consulting with an attorney prior to starting any dispensing program. Back
